Pat Cain
“My non-representational paintings and landscapes come from within and are inspired by the colors, shapes, and textures of the southwest.”
Having grown up surrounded by the farmlands of Ohio, I am especially influenced by spaces. My paintings consistently have a sense of that. Following a career in public education, during which I continued to find time to paint and get a masters in painting, my husband and I retired to a beautiful lake in northern Michigan where I was able to spend even more time in my studio. A move to Arizona in 2003 with it’s amazing light, has added a new dimension to my work and my life.
